Laura’s acting experience encompasses a broad array of theatre, film, and commercial projects. She has been an active member of the Oberon Theatre Ensemble since 1997. Most recently she played Mistress Ford in The Merry Wives of Windsor. Other roles performed with Oberon include Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, Masha in The Three Sisters, Goneril in King Lear, and the title role in Phaedre. Additional favorites include Miriam in White Horse Theater Company's In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel and Kirsten Clay in Boomerang Theatre Company’s production of Days of Wine and Roses. She also played the neighbor Lucky and police officer Effing in Oberon’s OOBR award winning show Moonchildren. In films she has taken on the roles of unhappy wives, ungrounded moms, and femme fatales. Commercials provide the opportunity to play more wholesome roles, such as happy, well-adjusted moms and efficient professionals.

In New York, Laura studied with Tim Phillips and Robert Castle, and also took classes at HB Studios, School for Film and Television, and the Actors Movement Studio. Before moving to New York, Laura lived, played, and went to school in various parts of Southern New England. She is a graduate of Yale University and Columbia Business School.
