One month away from opening in Oberon's
production of A Thousand Variations on a Lie Told Once
by Stacey Lane, which will be part of the Midtown International
Theatre Festival. I'll be playing Whitney, the oldest of three sisters
that go to their mother's house on Christmas Eve to finally straighten
out a few things regarding their deceased father. Oh yeah, they
are also meeting her young fiance for the first time. It's an interesting
drama with a lot of laughs thrown in. See more info at www.oberontheatre.org
or buy tickets at www.ticketcentral.com.

Shot a JVC commercial in March. But it was
more like a party than work. There were a lot of people I know on
the shoot and we were at this beautiful location that used to be
a private mansion. (When craft services is served in silver chaffing
dishes you know you've hit the jackpot.) The title of the shoot
was "Weddings Gone Wild" and there was a whole lot of
silliness going on. This month I've been involved in a couple of
readings. I played the role of the Virgin Mary (yes that Virgin
Mary) in Our Lady of Sandwich, written by Mario Baldessari
and Keith Bridges with Oberon, and I'm following that up by playing
a nasty cockatoo named Cinderella in Birds, Fish, and Dogs
by Pamela Butler at Nicu's Spoon.

Rehearsals begin this week for Macbeth.
I play Lady Macduff in this Oberon Theatre Ensemble production opening
Febuary 14th at the Lion Theatre on Theater Row. It looks to be
a very exciting production and the opening party is sure to be great
fun, so why not join us on Valentine's Day for this "love story
with a twist."

First rehearsal today for WhiteHorse Theater
Company's reading of Compression of a Casualty in which
I play news anchor Soledad O'Brien. The reading, directed by Cyndy
Marion, will be performed on Monday, October 29th at 8pm at the
Epiphany Theater Company, 154 Christopher Street, Suite 2B.

Summer's over and it's time to don the
flowered scrubs with another stint as a nurse on "As The World
Turns." The outfit is hideous, but the experience working on
this show is always a pleasure.

Wow, that was fast! It feels as
if The Merry Wives of Windsor just opened, and now here
we are closed and done. What a great time! And the show was extremely
successful with several sold out performances. I've been going non-stop
since the the year started and it feels a little weird not to have
rehearsals or performances on my schedule, but there are of course
other things to focus on. (The first perhaps being laundry!) My
sister is getting married in July, so it's time to get working a
bit more on that production. With that date tying me up for many
theater opportunities, I hope to put some more time into other types
of acting projects. For instance, I'm doing a two-day gig with Performance
Plus in Richmond, VA this month. And we'll see what else comes along
-- besides spring! (Hooray!!!)

The Merry Wives of Windsor opens
this week! All is beginning to fall into place and it is clear that
this show is going to be a great deal of fun for both the audience
and the performers. The music that's been created for the show by
Mickey Zetts is really wonderful and further boosts the lighthearted
tone of the play. I've left the angst of Williams behind and I'm
having a ball. Come on out and join the fun! Purchase tickets at
www.ticketcentral.com.

In the Bar of a Tokyo Hotel is
open and going quite well. As the original Broadway production was
not a hit, we were interested to see the reaction of modern audiences
to this play. So far, very positive! The character of Miriam is
endlessly fascinating and it's a treat to step into her shoes every
evening (the pillbox hat on the otherhand...) Just twelve more performances
left. Get tickets at www.smarttix.com.

So rehearsals for In the Bar of a Tokyo
Hotel have begun. They are demanding but also a great deal
of fun. We open three weeks from today on February 2nd and I hear
ticket sales are already strong!
See more info about the show at www.whitehorsetheater.com.
December 9, 2006
You can catch me in two shows in the upcoming
months. The first is Tennessee Williams' In the Bar of a Tokyo
Hotel, which opens February 2, 2007. This show is being produced
by White Horse Theatre Company and will run at the Abingdon Theatre
Arts Complex, 312 West 36th Street. I'll be playing the wonderfully
juicy role of Miriam.
In March, I will be part of Oberon Theatre
Ensemble's tenth anniversary season, having heaps of fun with the
role of Mistress Ford in Merry Wives of Windsor. This show,
which will place Shakespeare's text in a contemporary setting, opens
March 8th at The Lion Theatre on Theatre Row (42nd btwn 9th Ave
and Dyer).
December 1, 2006
Have a reading of Colin McKenna's parking
lot lonely heart with Boomerang Theatre Company coming up on
Sunday, December 3rd, directed by Cailin Heffernan. The script is
being presented as part of Boomerang's First Flight series and will
be held at The Arthur Seelen Theater at The Drama Book Shop, 250
W 40th Street, NYC.

Just shot an episode of "Law &
Order" with Chevy Chase! Okay, we didn't exactly have a scene
together, but it was still quite a bit of fun. I also recently did
a scene on "As The World Turns" as one of the nurses fighting
over the gowns for the upcoming hospital gala. I wanted the Venus
gown but ended up as Little Red Riding Hood. Quite a let down.
Feburary 3, 2006
Finally I have both a new show and the ability
to update my site all by myself! All-In-One, an evening of one-acts

The Bear by Anton Chekhov and The Mystery at Twicknam
Vicarage by David Ives. Produced by the Oberon Theatre Ensemble,
All-In-One is a full evening of lighthearted fare, including classics,
contemporary and original works. One week only. Catch it while you
can!

the role of Jaime in the new play The List by Alex Menza,
directed by Joseph Zarro. Jaime's young son needs a liver transplant.

he hesitate to do so? Tune in and see folks.
